One of the market initiatives involves 3 levels of children engaging outside “classrooms”. The bilingual teachers use proactive recreation and interactive lessons to teach basic skills of environmental stewardship, market-based transactions, and community building. Every week, Ometepe Sustainability employs 3 Nicaraguan teachers that design lessons and activities to work with all ages and backgrounds.
